Hello Monday, and gm to you:
The first full weekend of NBA action is in the books, and we’ve already got over 10,000 social media mentions of #NBATopShotThis. We are, as the kids say, gmi.
Want an NFT job? There’s a couple in the newsletter today.
Top Shot released the Series 3 Roadmap and plans. This is a must read if your account value is over four figures. See where it’s going! We’ll parse the language for insight soon.
They also put out a new Dev Diary summarizing some of the changes and improvements made over the summer - most of which you’ve already seen and experienced first hand.
Klay Thompson’s Top Shot Debut is available as a Showcase Challenge reward, wrapping up on Friday. All moments must be Top Shot Debuts.
I expect about 10K completions, of which I am one.

General Advice
In Her Bag
The first Legendary WNBA drop is happening tomorrow: you’ll need a Collector Score (with bonuses) over 3,500 to sniff a chance at one of these 2,025 Legendary packs. It’s also, to my knowledge, the first pack in Top Shot history that will mix moments from different years, as the Rares included in the drop are WNBA Run It Backs. At $599 this is an accesible entry point to a Legendary moment.
The pack artwork is also arguably the best in Top Shot’s history. If you can afford the six hundred dollar hit, keeping this pack closed is a surefire payoff in a few years.
However if you do score a pack and have to get some of your money back from it, I expect this pack to be solidly +EV (expected value).

MLB Icon Packs drop on Candy, shortly. I think these have a chance to compete with Top Shot, unlike whatever Topps offered (remember that?!)
The CEO of FTX (you know, the sponsors of all things baseball and soon to be other sports) doesn’t understand NFTs’ appeal. Can you NGMI if you already MI?
Reddit as an NFT marketplace? They’re hiring a blockchain engineer. Sounds rare.
